First Walk

I was told today I really needed a man in my life. The dog is getting too spoiled. LMBO Well, I really don't have time to date and all that. And besides, you can train a puppy a lot easier than you can a man. ;)
This past weekend we took Mitzi on her first walk on a leash. I don't use collars, only a harness. She's so tiny, she kept pulling her front legs out of the harness, but otherwise, she did really well.


On our way back down the path towards the car, we met a family with their Golden Retreiver. When Mitzi saw that big dog she started to bark. She sounds so cute when she barks! It gave us all a good laugh. The Golden Retreiver looked at her as if he couldn't figure out if the barking was coming from her or somewhere else. It was priceless. She thought she was tough though. Protecting her people from that big monster. LMBO
She gets her second set of shots tomorrow and her first puppy hair cut. I hope they do a good job!

My oldest daughter was determined I wasn't going to get any pictures of her...I was determined that I was! Guess who won? Hehe :P


This last one is of a blooming Dogwood tree in the woods. Perhaps my favorite part of spring is seeing these gorgeous trees. There's nothing like spring in the south. ;)
